Network remediation and provider equipment replacement
For networks that already exist and already misbehave. We find the actual cause of the dropouts, the buffering, and the video calls that freeze, then fix it, which sometimes means new equipment and sometimes means correcting a configuration or a channel choice on the equipment you already own.
What is included
- Diagnosis of the real fault, separating a coverage problem from a configuration problem from an internet service problem
- Channel and power correction, since most homes are broadcasting on the same crowded channels as their neighbors
- Replacement of provider supplied routers where they are the bottleneck
- Cleanup of the accumulated layers of extenders, powerline adapters, and old routers
What moves the price
- Whether the fix is configuration, placement, equipment, or all three
- How much old equipment has to be untangled first
Ranges come from the assessment, once somebody has looked at the building. We do not publish a headline number because it would be wrong for most houses.
Questions people actually ask
My internet is fast when I test it but video calls still drop. Why?
A speed test measures one device pulling hard for ten seconds, usually while standing near the router. A dropped video call is usually a coverage or interference problem at the far end of the house, or a device roaming badly between two access points. Those do not show up in a speed test, which is why the speed test keeps telling you everything is fine.
Do I need faster internet service?
Usually not. Most homes we see are paying for far more bandwidth than they use and have a wireless problem instead. We would rather cut your monthly bill than sell you equipment.
