Horizon West, Hamlin, Independence, Winter Garden Village, and the Windermere side. About twelve miles east of our base in the Clermont area, so this is a regular route rather than an exception.
What buyers here want
This end of the market usually knows what it wants and asks technical questions. Buyers here are frequently comparing a designed system against another mesh kit, and they respond to measurement, heat maps, and a named access point count rather than to a sales pitch. Several already run smart home systems and want the smart devices separated from everything else.
What we actually see here
The recurring problems in Winter Garden and Horizon West
- Builder installed wiring panels are common here, which often means the access points can use wiring the house already has instead of meshing
- Fiber service is widely available in Horizon West, so the bottleneck is almost never the internet connection, it is coverage on the upper floors
- Casitas, detached suites, and long driveways are the recurring coverage gap in these subdivisions
- Camera work here is usually about identification at the driveway and the front door, not about blanket coverage

My builder put in wiring. Does that make this cheaper?
Usually yes, and meaningfully. If there is a wiring panel with runs to the upstairs rooms, we can use those runs for the access points instead of meshing them, which gives you full speed at every one. Whether the runs land in useful places is the first thing we check, and in most Horizon West builds at least some of them do.
I have a 4,500 square foot two story house and one router. Is that the problem?
Almost certainly. A single router in a downstairs closet in a house that size will cover perhaps the middle third of it well. Houses in this range typically need three to five access points, and where they go is a measurement question rather than a guess.
